A turnout disaster four years earlier and a continuous pandemic have stimulated imaginative methods to beat the president. 10 days prior to Election Day, the Rev. Dr. Alyn Waller, pastor of Philadelphia's largest Black church, rolled up to City Hall on his Harley-Davidson Tri Move Ultra. He parked it near the statue of Octavius Valentine Catto, a Black ballot rights activist eliminated in Philadelphia on Election Day 1871.

At midday, Waller and 2 dozen other bikers raised their kickstands and roared off on the Black Bicycle riders Vote ride, a two-hour journey past satellite voting places in Philly. The ride ended in the huge parking area of Waller's Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, which takes up numerous city blocks in northwest Philly.

Essential Note: A current modification in the law requires the State Board of Elections and each local board of elections to refer to absentee tallies as "mail-in tallies" and absentee voting as "mail-in ballot." Please note that this modification in terms does NOT change the process of mail-in ballot. There are numerous methods to take part in the 2020 Presidential Election.

To vote by mail, you should ask for a mail-in tally from the State Board of Elections or your regional board. Your demand for a mail-in ballot must be gotten by October 20, 2020. Mail-in tallies should be postmarked or positioned in a designated drop box by 8pm on November 3, 2020.

If you can not vote by mail or desire to enact individual, Marylanders can vote throughout early voting or on election day. Early voting will be held for 8 days and start on October 26, 2020 through November 2, 2020. You can vote at any early voting center in the county you live in.
